Vice President of Operations
The VP of Operations will report to the President of UltraComm. In this role, you will interface with the Product and Process Development teams and Financial controller to release new products and technologies with superior cost structures. The VP of Operations will be responsible for all aspects of operations and manufacturing, including a small internal assembly and test facility. The VP of Operations will also be responsible for an external supply chain and the company’s Quality Management System.
SENIOR PRODUCT ENGINEER
As the principle owner of the full product life cycle, the Senior Product Engineer will be responsible for detailed product specifications suitable for both commercial and mil/aero products, coordinating new product introductions with design, test, and manufacturing engineers, marketing, and quality control, as well as creating qualification plans for complex active and passive fiber optic communication products.
MANAGER, PRODUCTION ASSEMBLY AND TEST
The Manager Production Assembly and Test will be responsible for building and leading Ultra Communications microelectronics manufacturing into a multi shift production operation. This position will plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of manufacturing to meet the production needs of the company. This position reports to the VP of Operations and has potential to be responsible for a multi shift operation.
MANUFACTURING PROCESS DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER • MICROELECTRONICS ASSEMBLY AND PACKAGING
Process Development for Micron Precision Electro/Optic Assembles, develop new or improve existing manufacturing processes for microelectronic, assembly processes such as Flip chip bonding, wire bonding, micro lens array adhesive bonding, Develop new metallurgical flip chip joints for ASIC and Electro/Optic component bonding, develop new micro optic array adhesive attach processes, optimize new process, create qualification plans and qualify new component package options
MANUFACTURING PROCESS ENGINEER • MICROELECTRONICS ASSEMBLY AND TEST
Process Development for Micron Precision Electro/Optic Assembles, develop or improve existing manufacturing processes for precision assembly of components, create and manage project plans (tasks, resources, schedules) for process improvements provide ROI justification for process improvements and specify, identify and procure new manufacturing equipment needed for increased capacity.
ASSEMBLY AND TEST MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN
In this position, you will work with opto-electronic packaging and test engineers, as well as other assembly process technicians, on Mil-Aero grade optical interconnect components for applications in Space and other High Reliability/Harsh Environment systems. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, hands-on, detail oriented, goal driven and takes great pride in their work product. This position reports to the Production Manager.
Perform general maintenance of a 16,000 ft facility with a clean room for assembly and test, development labs and general offices. Key Duties and Responsibilities include: Help with the installation of new lab and production equipment. Coordinate with facilities contractors to get work done on time and within budget, Perform repairs as needed to facilities and equipment, electrical, plumbing and mechanical skills required.
Perform equipment maintenance and calibration for a micron precision, Opto/ Electronics assembly and test manufacturing line. Also, Help with the installation of a new generation of equipment, create calibration/maintenance schedules and procedures for the assembly/test area and the development lab and calibrate and maintain equipment to developed schedules.
