Responsible for staffing, supervision, training, motivation, performance and coordination of daily activities of the Precision Opto-Electronic assembly and test areas. The candidate will execute on volume ramp and achieve quality and on time delivery objectives. In addition, this position is a key contributor to expanding the UltraComm production operations from a 2-shift - 5 day a week work flow to a 7 day a week - 24 hour a day work flow operation.
Sr. Product Development Mechanical Engineer
The Sr. Product Development Mechanical Engineer is involved in the design of new products from concept to launch, including the creation of all necessary drawings, prototypes, testing materials and methods. To be successful in this role, the candidate will be required to apply a wide range of previous experience to complete projects. The candidate will use data analysis to drive most decisions, exercises independent judgement in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Sr. Product Development RF Engineer
The Sr. Product Development RF Engineer is responsible to complete hands on product and engineering development for high speed digital and RF Photonics product lines at UltraComm. The assigned projects will require this role to apply a wide range of past experience to these small-scale, high reliability products. This position is a key contributor in leading and driving product development activities. In this role, the candidate will be expected to lead activities with other engineers working on the projects.
Sr. Test Engineer
UltraComm’s Test and Product Engineers are a key factor in the growth and quality of our optical interconnect product line. This individual will be a key technical resource and will work closely with production, product and R&D engineers to build and release test and characterization systems. The candidate must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a sense of commitment and be flexible to project needs.
Sr. Quality Engineer
Reporting to the Director of Quality, the Sr. Quality Engineer at Ultra Communications will be responsible to plan, organize and report on all quality-related activities to assure fulfillment of company and industry compliance requirements. This role supports development, communication, deployment and management of overall company quality strategies. This includes, but not limited to, Environmental Compliance, MSA, SPC, Quality Audits, NCMRs and Change Control for Ultra Communications’ photonic and fiber optic products. The position functions as a vital team member in a supportive work and team environment.
